This episode discusses the socioeconomic impact upon victims of the overcriminalization of the American justice system.  Specifically, it addresses the litany of civil liberties that most people simply take for granted which are denied to people who have been convicted of crimes by virtue of government imposed restrictions, whether misdemeanors or felonies, and had their identities publicized by mass media.  In an information-based society, a single offense can overshadow one’s entire life, and the profiteering of American politicians have only inflated the number of people deprived the most basic of human dignities.
